General Manager, Human Resource Management


Job Summary

In your capacity as the General Manager, Human Resources of the Company, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of the Human Resource policies and practice of Advance Pact Sdn Bhd which include : 

  • To partner with the leadership team and execute organizational human resource strategy particularly related to current and future recruitment talent needs and retention;
  • To provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations and investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations;
  • To manage the recruitment process which includes shortlisting, interviewing, and hiring the qualified candidates, particularly in managerial and professional roles;
  • To analyze the trends in compensation and benefits, and propose the competitive base and incentive programs to match the market trends;
  • To create and manage the training and development programs for developing the potential of the employees in performance improvement;
  • To oversee the employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations;
  • To maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law;
  • To perform any other duties as assigned

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Qualification

  • Possess at least Degree in Human Resources Management or other related disciplines.
  • At least 7 years direct experience in heading/leading human resources unit/department. 
  • Well versed in the local laws and regulations, constantly updated on the labor market trends and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Words, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and result oriented.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of management and operational employees.
  • Able to converse well in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Possess own transport and valid driven license and willing to travel as and when required.
